Members of AARST, our staff is NRPP Certified for Residential Measurement, Standard and Analytical Services, and for Residential Mitigation. We are trained professionals who also specialize in testing for lead, asbestos, mold, and well water. We have over 8 years of experience as being radon mitigation specialists in New Mexico and surrounding areas .

Lead

Lead is particularly dangerous to children because their growing bodies absorb more lead than adults do and their brains and nervous systems are more sensitive to the damaging effects of lead. Homes built between 1960-1977 have a 24% chance of having lead-based paint. Homes built between 1940-1959 have a 69% chance. Homes built before 1940 have an 87% chance.

ASBESTOS

More than 39,000 American lives are lost to asbestos-related disease every year. Before the 1970’s, many homes used materials that were made of asbestos. Asbestos in the home can lead to lung-cancer and mesothelioma.

MOLD

Mold exposure can potentially lead to allergic reactions, asthma and other respiratory ailments.Molds produce allergens (substances that can cause allergic reactions), irritants, and in some cases, potentially toxic substances (mycotoxins). Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. (Source:EPA)
